ABOUT KATHY KENNEDY QUILTS
Artist's Statement
I have enjoyed working with colorful fabrics since my mother taught me to sew when I was a pre-teen. I have been sewing all my life but only began to make quilts in 2009.
I began creating art quilts in 2019. I use a variety of methods, including fusible applique and fabric collage.

I also create quilts using artist Ira Kennedy's fabric panels. This method creates beautiful kaleidoscope blocks that surround the panel. (Ira is my husband.)
